Your data, plainly.
The legal versions are linked at the bottom of this page. This is the same thing in plain English: what leaves your phone, when, where it goes, and what we never do with it.
What goes to an AI, and when
Cevren uses Claude, made by Anthropic, to read your record and answer your questions. Something is sent only when:
- You ask a question or request a review. A summary of your record goes with it: what you take, your recent logs and notes, your lab markers, recent Apple Health data (sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, steps, activity and weight), and your goal. If you've added health conditions, your year of birth or an upcoming procedure, those go too.
- You've turned on the Monday report. The same kind of summary, once a week. It's off unless you switch it on.
- You upload a lab report or photograph a supplement label. The image is sent so it can be read.
Never sent: your name, your email, your account details, or your Oura ring readings. Oura data stays in the app. Anthropic does not use what we send to train its models, and deletes it from its systems within 30 days — unless the law, or its safeguards against misuse, require keeping it longer.
What stays on your phone
- Your Apple Health data, and your Oura data if you connect a ring.
- Health conditions, year of birth and any upcoming procedure you add.
- Weight or blood pressure you type in when Apple Health isn't used.
- Answers to your saved questions, your weekly reports and stack reviews.
What's on our server, and for how long
- Your protocol, daily logs, notes and lab results, so your record is kept safe and backed up.
- Full AI reports, so you can read them again. Each is deleted automatically after 12 months.
- Answers waiting for your phone. When you ask Insights a question, the answer is held encrypted on our server until your phone collects it, then deleted. Never more than 7 days.
- A record of your AI questions and ratings: when you asked, what kind of question it was, and whether you said an answer helped. Not the question itself, and not the answer. It's how we apply the monthly question limit and learn which answers are useful. Never used for advertising.
- Your encrypted Oura login, when it expires and which permissions you granted, only if you connect a ring, so the connection keeps working. Disconnect, or delete your account, and they're deleted and Cevren's access at Oura is revoked.
- Encrypted backups, which expire on their own within 35 days.
What we never do
- Sell your data, or anything you take. No supplements, no peptides, no affiliate links.
- Put advertising or tracking code in the app.
- Use a tracking pixel on this website. We count visits with Cloudflare's cookieless analytics: no cookies, nothing that identifies you.
- Send your health data to Oura. Connecting your ring only brings data in.
- Use your health information for advertising, anywhere.
You're in control
- Delete any saved report, any time.
- Change or remove your health conditions, year of birth or procedure whenever you like.
- Turn the Monday report off.
- Disconnect Oura, and your Oura login is deleted and Cevren's access at Oura is revoked.
- Delete your account, and everything on our servers is deleted straight away. Copies in our backups expire on their own within 35 days.
